Custom built Cedar Garden Boxes. This was a fun, quick and easy afternoon build. We built them on-site and had to do a little digging so the boxes would sit level. They turned out great and looked even better after a coat of water sealant. We installed stainless steel hardware cloth on the bottom to keep the moles out and attached ground cover cloth to the inside of the boxes to let the soil breathe and also to keep it in place. If you would like a pair or more or even just one, we can also arrange for the dirt to fill them with. We can custom build these to your specifications and needs.
A big job for the Tecumseh, OK Historical Society Museum. We started with an old concrete block room and went from there. We framed it in with 2×6’s and added the best insulation we could get to make the room as comfortable temperature-wise as possible. We added insulation in the ceiling after fixing the framing up there. We had to convert a bathroom to a mop closet with a utility sink and custom built shelving. We mounted the old bank vault doors into the walls and made sure they were secure. We added new lights, new plumbing, new HVAC and new custom built cabinets for their kitchenette area. We also framed in and built an 8’x12′ closet area. The old floor tile was removed and the concrete was scraped and cleaned. It was a big job that took some coordinating with the HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors and the customers are very happy with their room now.
A big project, but worth the effort. The small, dilapidated shed didn’t hold much. It didn’t protect anything from the elements and every other year or so it would flood. We put the new shed on piers in almost the same spot, but now there is no worry about flooding. Also the new shed is insulated, has electric and a good solid roof with gutters to keep everything inside safe and dry. A very small niche in a very small garage. The new work bench is not only functional, well organized and easy to access, it is also solid and custom built to be level even though the floor isn’t.
A nice bathroom, before, but a beautiful bathroom after. We completely removed the entire shower, down to the studs and concrete. We rebuilt the pad and curb and built the tile shower to our customer’s specifications. We also retiled the entire bathroom and closet floor, replaced the countertops and repaired the vanity. Painting was the easy part, and our customer chose her favorite colors.
A very small 3/4 bath that we completely gutted down to the studs and bare concrete. We re-built the shower pan with a pre-slope and water proofing so it would drain properly and stay dry for years to come. We tiled the shower and built a handy little niche. We tiled the bathroom floor, added a new toilet, vanity, fixtures, lights and a vent fan. We also had to correct the wall as it was not plumb or square. The old shower was nothing more than a green cave with a dropped ceiling. We raised the ceiling in the shower and removed the stub-wall to create a more open and larger feel to a very small space. The customer’s wife was thrilled with the new bathroom.
